Business Development Coordinator

Job Description:

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Business Development Coordinator’s (BDC) primary focus will be to encourage and develop new business opportunities for the Company’s self-employed Business Owner organisations within a designated region, whilst retaining and developing existing business.  The successful applicants will also be responsible for conducting initial “induction” training of all new Business Owners and developing their knowledge base through further training and product presentations.

 

Our client is looking to appoint a BDC in each of the following regions:

Midlands, London, South West, North West, Scotland and Ireland

 

Key areas of responsibility will include:

 

Distributor Relations

·         Build, develop and maintain ongoing communication with the Company’s Business Owners through visits, phone calls, email, meetings, correspondence and attendance at events

·         Arrange and attend meetings with Business Owners, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups to further develop their business

·         Provide sales support and business training on an ongoing basis throughout the area to maximise sales revenue. 

·         Analyse business and sales revenue within the region

·         Ensure adherence to Company processes, Rules of Conduct, branding etc within the region

 

Marketing

·         Identify market trends, business indicators and other relevant information

·         The management of strategic projects to support the UK / RoI business plan

·         Closely monitor the performance of the region against benchmarks and devise and implement strategies for improvement

Training

·         Provide professional, timely and effective induction training for every new Business Owner

·         Develop and enhance the knowledge base of all Business Owners by further training and product & retail presentations

·         Provide regular feedback to the training department

 

 

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, experience and attributes:

 

·                     Good standard of all round education is required

·                     A full, clean UK driving licence is required

·                     Proven experience of achieving results within a direct sales/ B2C environment         by encouraging and supporting the actions of others through business training and coaching to aid their development

·               Experience of relationship building within a sales-driven environment

·               Experience of creating and presenting training and sales information to      groups of varying sizes

·                     Experience of extracting and interpreting complex statistical information is             desirable

·                     Previous experience of working within a multi-level marketing organisation or         direct selling is desirable

·                     Champion of customer service

·                     Adaptable, flexible and quick to learn new skills and concepts

·                     Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills

·                     Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language

·                     Results driven, proactive and self-motivated

·                     Commercially aware and a strategic planner

·                     Ability to work under pressure with a professional attitude and approach

 

Some weekend and evening working is a feature of this job as is extensive travel within the designated region
