DIrect Marketing Media Sales Consultant
The successful Media Consultant will be a recognised media expert whose role is to grow the use of Direct Mail among a portfolio of the PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 1) Develop relationships and a reputation with decision makers in the UK’s largest advertising companies. Use personal networks in the sector who can influence the use of DM in their portfolio of clients. Set up strategic alliances where there is mutual value. 2) Develop and use media and advertising expertise with knowledge about the DM market place and other complementary media to identify short and long term opportunities to provide new revenue streams. Identify market trends and opportunities to sell standardised as well as new DM products. 3) Seek to understand client needs for DM solutions and offer consultancy expertise to explore needs in detail and propose solutions that can best fulfil client needs and generate new revenue streams for our client. 4) Working in pitch teams with other Media Consultants, Channel partners and other key stakeholders develop individual and sector sales plans to change clients' perception of the effectiveness of DM. Including following up contacts and opportunities over both the short and medium term. Attach priorities to clients and service lines which potentially offer maximum revenue opportunities. Disengage from prospects where sales opportunities do not emerge. 5) Develop new solutions and products in conjunction with specialists in and outside the company to create and exploit new revenue streams and increase the DM share of the total media spend. Provide thought leadership on DM internally and externally.
